Daniel Cadigan is the Technical Director of TAPS. He has also worked as a shop carpenter for TAPS for 12 years and the Technical Director for Broadway by the Bay, at San Mateo High School, Ray of Light, and at other performing arts organizations in the Bay Area. Special interests include stage carpentry, welding, mechanical systems, and stage automation.

Jane has had the pleasure to work in a wide range of organizations developing expertise in a range of art forms with a huge variety of artists. This experience includes, regional professional theater with Arena Stage, San Jose Repertory Theater and Peninsula Players Theater. Rental and presenting venues with the Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, and the Hammer Theater Center. And educational theater at Boston University School of Theater where Jane received her MFA in Production Management and Certificate in Arts Administration. The excitement of working with students and professionals to explore the challenges of creating art on stage keeps Jane passionate about performing arts.

Brett is the Head Carpenter for TAPS. He has worked in theater and production since 2009 and has experience in carpentry, lighting, and sound. He has worked with the Stanford Jazz Workshop, Ray of Light, San Francisco State University, and Stanford Live. He enjoys making music and building wooden furniture.

Katie is the TAPS Student Services Manager. She has a B.A. in Communication from Santa Clara University and an M.A. in Counselor Education from San Jose State. Prior to joining TAPS, Katie worked in the Stanford English Department for many years. She is passionate about helping students during their time at Stanford. Conni Edwards has been helping students to create and build scenery, costumes, and props for Stanford productions since 2005. She received her B.A. in Studio Art with a minor in Theater Design and Technology from Knox College. Additional local institutions she’s worked with include TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Opera San José, San Francisco State University, and Teatro ZinZanni.

Lindsay is delighted to be joining the TAPS Staff as the Facility Manager. She has over 20 years experience in venue, production and stage management throughout Northern California and Los Angeles. Beth is delighted to be a part of TAPS! Holding an undergraduate degree from UC Davis in Sociology and an MA in Education from Stanford, Beth was most recently an Assistant Dean in the School of Humanities & Sciences Dean’ Office at Stanford, focusing on curricular initiatives and review, academic policy, and student services support. She has also held student services positions around campus, including the Department of Psychology and the School of Medicine. Beth also has experience in student affairs at Princeton and Tufts Universities and in K-12 teaching. She is excited to take part in facilitating the efforts and endeavors of the department!

Kenny provides support to productions as Master Electrician and Supervisor of lighting installations. He has more than twenty years of experience in technical theater and works as Master Electrician, Head Rail, and Stagehand for a variety of performing arts groups in the Bay Area. Kenny’s interests include creating special lighting effects.

Heather Patterson Miller is the Costume Shop Lead for TAPS. She received her BS from the University of California, Davis in Costume Design and an MFA from Academy of Art. She has worked in design, construction, and patternmaking for UC Davis, West Bay Opera, and Stanford Summer Theater, as well as for the fashion industry.
