DANIEL CADIGAN | production administrator

Daniel Cadigan is the Production Administrator of TAPS. He has also worked as Technical Director and a shop carpenter for TAPS for 15+ years and the Technical Director for Broadway by the Bay, at San Mateo High School, Ray of Light, and at other performing arts organizations in the Bay Area. Special interests include stage carpentry, welding, mechanical systems, and stage automation.

BRETT CAVANAUGH | scenic and technology lead

Brett is the Scenic and Technology Lead for TAPS. He has worked in theater and production since 2009 and has experience in carpentry, lighting, and sound. He has worked with the Stanford Jazz Workshop, Ray of Light, San Francisco State University, and Stanford Live. He enjoys making music and building wooden furniture.

KATIE DOOLING | student services manager

Katie is the TAPS Student Services Manager. She has a B.A. in Communication from Santa Clara University and an M.A. in Counselor Education from San Jose State. Prior to joining TAPS, Katie worked in the Stanford English Department for many years. She is passionate about helping students during their time at Stanford. BECKETT FINN | technical director

Beckett joins TAPS after ten years as Technical Director and Adjunct Faculty at Saint Mary’s College of California. He holds an MFA in Technical Production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he worked with PlayMakers Repertory Company. Beckett has also served as Technical Director for Barrington Stage Company, Crowded Fire Theater, and other regional and Bay Area companies. His work emphasizes stage carpentry, welding, and mentoring emerging theatre artists through collaborative practice.

LORI FOWLER | facilities manager

Lori Fowler studied Technical Theatre at the University of Hawaii – Hilo. They have stage managed all over the Bay Area and serve as the Resident Stage Manager for Ray of Light Theatre. They have also Stage Managed Golden Girls Live! for the last nine years. Lori is excited to be working with students, faculty, and staff in realizing their artistic pursuits.

WENLIN HE | assistant director of finance and operations

Wenlin He is the Assistant Director of Finance and Operations for TAPS. A first-generation immigrant from Shanghai, China, she holds an MS in Teaching from the University of Rochester. Prior to joining TAPS, Wenlin spent six years in the Stanford Chemistry Department, focusing on student services. She also has experience in TV show production at International Channel Shanghai (ICS). Outside of work, Wenlin is a passionate foodie.

BRENDON MARTIN | marketing + special events coordinator

Brendon Martin is a graduate of Stanford Drama and a freelance director and stage manager. With over 400 productions under his belt, he is excited to be working with students, and helping them to showcase their work at Stanford and beyond.

KENNY MCMULLEN | head electrician

Kenny provides support to productions as Head Electrician and Supervisor of lighting installations. He has more than twenty years of experience in technical theater and works as Head Electrician, Head Rail, and Stagehand for a variety of performing arts groups in the Bay Area. Kenny’s interests include creating special lighting effects.

HEATHER PATTERSON MILLER | costume shop lead

Heather Patterson Miller is the Costume Shop Lead for TAPS. She received her BS from the University of California, Davis in Costume Design and an MFA from Academy of Art. She has worked in design, construction, and patternmaking for UC Davis, West Bay Opera, and Stanford Summer Theater, as well as for the fashion industry.

STEFANIE MIDORI OKUDA | marketing + special events director

Stefanie joined Stanford TAPS in 2008. She studied Theatre Arts and Philosophy at Santa Clara University, where she also worked for the Director of the Center of Performing Arts. Born and raised on Oahu, she resides with her husband in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Her interests include developing new and more diverse audiences for the performing arts.

Tyler is thrilled to be joining the TAPS Staff as the Production Manager. He graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Theatre Technology & Production and a specialty in Stage Management. Prior to joining TAPS, he was the Resident Stage Manager at Palm Beach Dramaworks in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is looking forward to being back in an educational environment and working with the TAPS team to realize everyone’s creative ventures.

ZACH SIGMAN | head carpenter

Zach is thrilled to be joining the TAPS team as Head Carpenter. He has been working in the Bay Area theater community since the mid 90’s for companies like San Jose Repertory Theatre, American Musical Theatre of San Jose, Theatreworks, Opera San Jose and The SF Playhouse. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and cats exploring a variety of arts and crafts in their home makerspace.
