DETAILS + MORE INFO
TAPS holds auditions for its Winter 2021 Main Stage production, StageCast: Experiments in Performance and Technology, directed by TAPS Artistic Director Michael Rau.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
StageCast: Experiments in Performance and Technology is an experimental showcase of performances to discover new forms of live, theatrical storytelling over the internet. The performance will feature short works performed by Stanford students that will be broadcast using new technologies developed by students and faculty members from the Computer Science (CS) and Electrical Engineering (EE) Departments. This will be a remotely rehearsed and performed production.
This production is an exciting and unique interdisciplinary collaboration between TAPS and the CS and EE Departments. Join us for an investigation into digital storytelling, creative coding, and a melding of art and science.
The production is looking for four actors of any gender identity/race/ethnicity. Any prospective participant has the right to make inquiries about how their cultural personhood will be used within the production. Please make any inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org. Inquiries will receive a thoughtful response and will remain confidential from the artistic staff.
