Tommy Jackson is young, obsessed with astrology, and living with his racist grandma in small-town Virginia. Marsha Lyons is a black birdwatcher just arrived from Berkeley and looking to connect to her family’s history. Instead, Marsha finds Tommy, a changing South, and a Confederate monument gone missing. As the Confederate monument debate rages on, Stonewallin’ examines the afterlives of history and the unexpected differences within queer communities.
