2021/22 Patron COVID-19 FAQS

Does Stanford TAPS require proof of vaccination to attend indoor events?

In accordance with state, county, and university protocols, proof of vaccination or a negative PCR COVID test within the last 72 hours is required for entry to indoor events at TAPS (Memorial Auditorium, Roble Gym). Patrons are required to provide proof of vaccination status before entering the building. TAPS staff will verify status by checking both (1) a photo ID, and (2) a vaccine card, a photo of your vaccine card, or a digital COVID-19 vaccine record using the My Vaccine Record App.

Are children required to show proof of a negative COVID test in order to attend an indoor event?

Children under 12 will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to arrival onsite.

What other health and safety protocols are in place?

Masks are required for both unvaccinated and vaccinated patrons across all TAPS indoor venues. Patrons should bring their own face masks that cover their nose and mouth and must wear them at all times. Masks with valves will not be allowed. Patrons must stay home if they are experiencing a fever or any COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or have had close contact with anyone who is confirmed or is suspected of having COVID-19.

Janitorial staff will clean and wipe down seats between performances.

What is the capacity for shows during the 2021–22 season?

2021–22 season productions will be sold at full capacity. Seats will be spaced at standard distances.
