Prop and Costume Rentals Coordinators

The Costume Loan Coordinator and the Properties Loan Coordinator work to support the student theater community on campus by administrating rentals and loans from TAPS costume and prop storage.

Each of these students will meet with our technical staff at the beginning of each week to discuss general loan needs. Pulling pre-selected items, or returning items to stock, will be the primary responsibility for these individuals. Significant time would be left for taking appointments with student theater groups to organize their borrowing. The student staffers will fill out the appropriate loan forms, secure the appropriate damage/loss deposit, and checkout the resources. Alternatively, when a production is complete, the student staffer will check in each individual piece and return them to inventory.

Each position is intended to work two 4-hour shifts per week, with some overtime needed for special appointments, for a total of approximately 80 hours per quarter. Payscale is $15/hour.

Interested students should send an email to TAPS Assistant Technical Director Leanna Keyes at lkeyes@stanford.edu with their name, class year, and a brief description of their theatrical experience or affiliation (student groups, departmental productions, etc.). Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
